Application Guide
Prepare — pH9 Shampoo
Wash hair with KEYLUMA pH9 Shampoo and emulsify for 1–2 minutes. This alkaline pre-colour cleanser opens the cuticle, preparing the hair for optimal colour absorption. Towel-dry. Do not substitute with regular shampoo.
Colour Application
Mix your chosen KEYLUMA PICTO shade (or Clear + pigment blend) with Keyluma Cream Activator at a 1:1.2 to 1:1.5 ratio (e.g., 50g colour to 60–75g activator). Apply to towel-dried hair. Process for 20 minutes. For a sheer gloss result, dilute with Clear (e.g., 3:1 Clear to pigment).
Rinse
Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear. Emulsify gently at the basin before the final rinse to ensure even colour distribution across all sections.
Style
Proceed to blow-dry and styling. For retail aftercare, recommend Evera Shampoo No. 1 or 2 for daily use, and the matching Evera colour shampoo and mask for weekly tone maintenance.

PICTO Shades (60ml)
30 demi-permanent pigment shades across 10 levels. Available in Natural, Ash, Gold, Copper, Red, Violet, and creative tones. Each bottle features the unique colour strip showing the primary pigment ratio.
Clear Gloss (60ml)
A versatile clear demi-permanent gloss. Use as a stand-alone shine treatment (mix 1:1.2 to 1:1.5 with activator), or as a diluter to create sheer, customised tonal effects by blending with any PICTO shade.
Cream Activator — 5 Vol (1000ml)
Specifically formulated for the KEYLUMA system. Mix 1:1.2 to 1:1.5 with any PICTO shade or Clear. The low-volume cream developer provides gentle, deposit-only colour with zero lift.
pH9 Alkaline Shampoo (500ml)
Essential pre-colour preparation step. The alkaline formula opens the cuticle, allowing the colour to grip better for superior absorption, even coverage, and longer-lasting results.
Colour Intensifiers
0WP Pink Coat: Creative pink toner. Use full-strength for vivid pink, dilute with Clear for soft rose gold, or blend with gold pigments for bespoke warm tones.

FAQ
A demi-permanent colour deposits tone without lifting the hair's natural pigment. It gradually fades over 20–28 shampoos, making it ideal for glossing, toning, blending grey, refreshing colour between permanent appointments, and correcting unwanted tones like brassiness.
Use the KEYLUMA Cream Activator (5 Vol / 1.5%) at a 1:1.2 to 1:1.5 mixing ratio (e.g., 50g colour to 60–75g activator). Do not substitute with other developers — the activator is specifically calibrated for the PICTO system.
Standard processing time is 20 minutes at room temperature. Do not use heat. Check development at 15 minutes for porous hair.
As a demi-permanent system, PICTO blends and softens grey rather than providing full opaque coverage. For clients with up to 50% grey, PICTO delivers beautiful, natural-looking blending. For higher grey percentages, consider using the darker natural shades for maximum deposit.
